In Journal Intime, Galerie Loft brings together four women artists, Hajar Satari, Parvine Curie, Liên Hoàng-Xuân and Margaux Derhy, each of whom invents her own visual language out of lived experience and family narratives rooted in a country of origin or adoption. Together, their works compose a cartography of plural identities.
Margaux Derhy continues her pursuit of the archive: family photographs half erased by exile, which the thread attempts to recover. She presents embroidered drawings from the series A mother's solace and En solitude, watercolour, ink and embroidery on paper, as well as Studio Mogador 1947, Régine enfant, embroidery and painting on cotton.
Opened on 19 March 2026 at 4 rue des Beaux-Arts, the exhibition was extended until 28 May. It continues a relationship with the gallery that began at the AKAA fair.
