For the sixth edition of 1-54 Marrakech, held at La Mamounia from 30 January to 2 February 2025, L'Atelier 21 presents Margaux Derhy on its stand alongside M'barek Bouhchichi, Safaa Erruas, Najia Mehadji and Malick Welli, highlighting the contribution of Moroccan and African artists to contemporary art.
Margaux Derhy unveils Les Invisibles, new pieces hand-embroidered in sabra on cotton with the embroiderers of her atelier in Massa. These works explore the presence of women and their quiet dignity through this emblematic Moroccan fibre.
The whole atelier travelled to the fair. The same week, Margaux Derhy takes part in Line(s) of Desire at Izza and presents an embroidery for the opening of the Jnane Rumi hotel.
