The visitors' canvas

Every message sent from this site is signed with a stitch: chain, running, cross, herringbone or knot. Each stitch is placed here, on a shared piece of linen that fills up through the year, one visitor after another, along a single thread. At the end of the year, the embroiderers of the Massa studio embroider the canvas for real, and its photograph takes the place of this one.
