Invited to the 1-54 Marrakech 2024 fair, held at DaDa on Jemaa el-Fna square, the gallery Revie Projects presents Margaux Derhy's work on its stand D6, following their collaboration at Menart in 2023.
The stand mainly brings together new works embroidered by hand and by machine with the women of the Massa atelier, pushing further the challenge of scale, technical skill and the number of embroiderers involved. The two large pieces, Du silence à l'horizon and Déjà magicienne, 112 × 172 cm each, each represent the equivalent of 365 days of work.
They are shown in dialogue with six drawings on paper embroidered with the sewing machine, never before shown in the projects shared with the gallery.
